Each year, the Toorbul Rural Fire Brigade plays a vital role in making our Bonfire Night a safe and unforgettable event. These dedicated volunteers give their time and expertise to light, manage, and extinguish all bonfires and firepits, ensuring the safety of everyone attending. They also bring their fire trucks and equipment, engaging with the community and inspiring the next generation of firefighters.

But their work goes far beyond our event.

The Toorbul Rural Fire Brigade is on the frontline when it comes to bushfire response, hazard reduction burns, and emergency rescues in our region. They are the first to step up when disaster strikes, protecting lives, homes, and wildlife – all while relying on community support.
